Since then, we have been hard at work configuring, installing and testing the CareNotify system and we are excited to announce that we are just about ready to launch the first components of this tool.
In just a few days we will be launching the first product – an updated appointment reminder system. Appointment reminders are nothing new – we have been sending those out for years. What is different with this system is that it is primarily text message based (no worries if you do not have a text messaging plan – our system will still call you). Appointment reminders will be sent out 48 hours before your appointment – with a prompt to have you respond to confirm your appointment. Then, the day before your appointment, you will receive a courtesy reminder message. At any time, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you can just give us a call.
Our goal is to provide your child with the highest level of care and one way to accomplish this is to proactively notify you when an important service is recommended. Using the same CareNotify system (text messaging and voice calls), you will be notified when your child becomes due for one of the identified services. The message will allow you to schedule your appointment immediately with your preferred Woodcreek provider.
Online Appointment Scheduling
We understand what it is like to be a busy parent and the frustrations with having to wait on the phone just to make an appointment. Soon, our online appointment scheduling tool will be back on-line for you to conveniently schedule appointments. We are anticipating this happening in the next month or so. In the meantime, please continue to contact our office by phone or secure message your provider if you would like to setup an appointment.
Last, but not least, in efforts to decrease your wait time before an appointment, we will be initiating a new system which will allow you to check-in for your appointment up to 24 hours beforehand. You will receive a text message with a link to securely review your contact and insurance information, update the reason for your visit and complete any necessary forms. You can even pay your co-pay. Once completed, you can simply arrive for your appointment and we will call you back – no hassle, no fuss.
