Fifteen of our pediatricians have privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital. Well baby and well child exams are a great way to track your child’s growth and development. We recommend a newborn exam at 3 days old and again at 7-10 days. After that, we recommend check-ups at 1 month, 2 mos, 4 mos, 6 mos, 9 mos, 12 mos, 15 mos, 18 mos, 24 mos, and once annually until age 18. Our well child exams meet the necessary requirements for sports and camp participation. We also offer all CDC-recommended childhood immunizations.

Before Your Appointment
What to bring
To help assure your first visit goes smoothly we ask that you bring your insurance card, photo ID, your child's immunization record and any previous medical records with you to your appointment. Please arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete your new patient registration.
Billing your healthcare insurance
We will ask you for a copy of your insurance card and photo identification when you arrive for each visit. Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's does not verify insurance benefits for you. We are contracted with many insurance plans but not all. We recommend you contact your insurance plan to inquire about your specific coverage and benefits for your care at Woodcreek. Your insurance carrier can tell you if your provider is in network. More information may be found on our Billing & Insurance page.
Cash Pay & Private Pay Options
No Health Insurance? No Problem! Here's how our Private/Cash Pay option works. We collect a deposit of $175 when you check in with our receptionist and have you sign our Private Pay Financial Agreement, then collect the balance due at check out if available.
(Please note that the $175 is only a deposit and the amount of the final bill may be different based on the complexity of your visit and/or additional procedures and lab work completed. If lab work and/or X-rays are needed, you will be billed for those services by the outside facility that performs that service for us.)
If you would like to know what the estimated charges are for your visit, you can ask the receptionist at check out. Again, please keep in mind that this is only an estimate and may not be the final bill amount.
Fees for Labs and Other Services Not Performed In-House
Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's is able to perform many of the common tests you may require in-house and will bill your insurance provider or selected payment plan directly. These tests include, but are not limited to, throat swabs, cultures and some bloodwork labs. However, if a test is ordered and it is sent to a 3rd party lab, the charges for that service will be billed from that vendor.
